Job details: Medical Rehabilitation. Occupational Therapist required to start asap for 3 months to support with winter pressures. Experienced and energetic locum required to work within the Medical Rehabilitation team.  
The role will work between the general medicine, care of the elderly, frailty and neurological and orthopaedic outliers.  The role will require strong occupational therapy skills across a broad range of specialities, inclusive of care of the elderly, orthopaedics, medical and neurology. The role will require strong discharge planning skills, the ability to work autonomously under pressure, and a sound clinical understanding of falls, cognitive impairment and common pathology as related to frailty syndrome. The role would suit an OT with interest and experience within these areas.
Essential criteria: HCPC registration. NHS acute experiencing. Discharge planning. Experience in acute medicine, care of the elderly, orthopaedics and neurology. Desirable criteria: Availability to work over the Christmas period.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 08.30 -16.30.
