The Band 6 rotational Occupational Therapy post offers experienced Occupational Therapists the opportunity of gaining advanced clinical skills & knowledge in a variety of acute inpatient clinical settings including care of the elderly, specialist medicine, orthopaedics & surgery and admission avoidance including Frailty. The post holder will provide high quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to a wide variety of patients in liaison with the multidisciplinary team and community partners.
The job role is primarily Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm (37.5 hours per week). The exception to this is the admission avoidance rotation which covers extended hours of practice on a rota basis 7 days per week. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to the weekend rota.
