View JobTripod Partners are looking for an experienced Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in West Lancashire. This is a full-time, face-to-face role for an initial 3-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments (IA) and manage a caseload of children and young people.
- Work within Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) and attend clinical meetings.
- Provide duty cover and contribute to the ward/duty system.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring effective support for young people.
- Assess and manage mental health risk, adapting risk plans as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, families, and community services.
Position Details
- Location: West Lancashire
- Setting: CAMHS / Community Mental Health
- Contract: 3 Months
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Pay Rate:
- Weekday: £26.55 per hour
Requirements
- NMC-registered RMN or other NMC-registered nursing qualification with CAMHS experience.
- Proven ability to assess, manage cases, and support MDT functions.
- Strong experience in duty work and ward-based mental health support.
- Local candidates only will be considered for this role.
