Job details: Reablement. Experienced Occupational Therapist required. The Reablement team positively impacts individuals’ lives following illness, injury, loss of confidence or hospital admission. The service is led by Occupational Therapists, alongside Occupational Therapy Assistants and Support Workers.
The OTs work proactively with customers in their own homes to achieve greater independence, promote their well-being and minimise long-term care needs.
In this placement, the post holder will conduct strengths-based assessments, and work with customers and their families to design and implement creative reablement plans to enable them to achieve their goals.
Skills/experience: qualified Occupational Therapist with at least two years of post-qualification experience. Holding a valid full UK driver’s license is required, as they will be conducting visits to clients in their own homes or other settings, such as hospitals.
