Job Title:  Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Job details:  Paediatrics. Hybrid working (client visits). Qualified Occupational Therapist required with a passion for working with children. This role involves managing caseloads effectively and working on their own and with the team to provide the best outcomes. They will conduct client visits as part of a hybrid working model, ensuring flexible and effective care delivery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver therapeutic interventions to a caseload of children.
  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and healthcare providers.
  • Advise on paediatric equipment and housing adaptations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Engage with families to support and educate them on therapy practices.

Skills/experience: Qualified Occupational Therapist. Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience working with children and within local authority frameworks. Knowledge of paediatric equipment and housing adaptations. Based in Dorset, preferably in the western region. Valid driver’s license and access to a car for work-related travel.
Working hours: 37 hours per week. Monday to Friday (no weekends)
