Job details:  Occupational Therapist required to cover the Short Term Support Service in East Lancashire.  Occupational Therapists with empathy and the drive to make a difference, finding creative ways to support people to achieve what they want to do and live as independently as possible in a place they call their home. Living Better Lives has been launched in Lancashire – a new strength-based vision for social care. Innovative practice is being driven forward that will make a difference to the communities and Occupational Therapists are needed to help the service achieve their vision of supporting people to achieve what they want to, living independently in a place they call their home. The post holder will support people to live more independent lives, contributing to a wide range of service areas including equipment and adaptations, moving and handling with a focus on proportionate care, and specialist seating.
