Job Description
- To contribute to the assessment of more complex placement needs of children and young people, and family find for them according to their needs.
- Advise and assist the Child’s Social Worker, in preparation of children for placement either individually, or in groups (specifically for more complex and evasive families)
- To act as Supervising Social Worker to approved carers and provide supervision, support and training and to maintain local and statutory records. In addition to undertaking complex assessments and family finding.
- To produce reports, attend planning meetings, panel, court, reviews, team meetings, Psychology Service meetings and inter-agency meetings as necessary or appropriate.
- To mentor and support less experienced social workers.
- To contribute to service and policy development and lead on identified priorities
