Job Title:  Occupational therapist/Physiotherapist – Band 6

Job details:  Physiotherapist/Occupational therapist required for 4 weeks. Hospital Rapid Discharge Team. Skills/experience: Degree/Masters in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy. Hold a current HCPC registration.

• To have experience at B6 level within an A&E environment.
• To be able to independently assess, treat, advise, and discharge patients to an appropriate setting.
• To have excellent communication skills within your team and the MDT.
• To have knowledge of A&E and community systems to ensure safe discharge planning.
• To have knowledge of various co-morbidities to ensure your own and patient’s safety within the A&E environment.
• Good IT skills
• Member of specialist interest groups (desirable)

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. To cover 7-day working.
